Safety precautions for mud pumps:
1. The mud pump shall be installed on a solid foundation or foundation and shall not be loose.
2. The inspection items before start-up should meet the following requirements: the connection area is firm; The motor turns in the right direction; The clutch is flexible and reliable; The pipe connection is strong, the seal is reliable, the bottom valve is flexible and effective.
3. Before starting, the suction pipe, bottom valve and pump should be filled with water, and the upper end of the pressure gauge buffer should be filled with oil.
4. The piston shall be reciprocated twice before starting, without blocking; After starting, the load should be increased gradually after normal operation.
5. When using a multi-speed mud pump, each shift should be operated at several speed separately, and the running time should not be less than 30 minutes.
6. When changing speed in operation, the pump should be stopped to shift gears.
7. The pump should be stopped for inspection if there are abnormal noises in operation, abnormal amount of water, abnormal pressure or obvious high temperature.
8. In normal circumstances, the pump should be stopped at no-load time. When the pump stops for a long time, the water hole should be fully opened, and the cylinder cover should be released. The drain rod of the bottom valve shall be lifted, and all the mud and sand in the pump body and pipe shall be exhausted.
9. If it is intended to be used for a long period of time, it should be cleaned out of the mud and sand and grease, and the lubricating oil in the crankcase shall be exhausted, and anti-rust and anti-corrosion measures shall be taken.
